Luka Mineral Cosmetics and Luka Rx Treatment Cosmetics are the result of professional makeup artist Katherine MacDonald’s search for cosmetics that were not full of synthetic, unsafe or irritating ingredients that would inhibit the healing process of delicate post-surgical and post-treatment skin, yet pigmented enough to cover bruises, scars, rosacea, birthmarks, vitiligo and other challenging skin conditions.

After three years of research and development, she’s created her own mineral-based natural cosmetics line, more elegant and well-formulated than the loose minerals on the market.

Katherine’s work in print, video, film, bridal and special occasion makeup, and airbrush makeup found her creating looks on a broad range of different skin textures, colors and complexion issues, so she knew there was a need for a professional line that was anti-aging and came in all skin tones. Luka RxTreatment Cosmetics will soon join Katherine’s original line, Luka Mineral Cosmetics, to help women find a look that makes them feel beautiful and are beautifully simple to use.
